Tokyo, Japan, hosted one of the most prestigious international cardiology events, the 89th Annual Scientific Meeting of the Japanese Circulation Society (JCS). The conference brought together leading scientists, physicians, and specialists from around the world, including cardiologists from Uzbekistan.
In particular, Zarina Mashkurova, a young and talented scientist and leading physician at the Republican Specialized Scientific-Practical Medical Center of Cardiology, successfully delivered a presentation on her scientific research.
Her report on “How does the combination of Azilsartan with Indapamide or Nitrendipine affect pulse wave velocity in arterial hypertension?” attracted special attention from conference participants.
The research investigated the assessment of cardiovascular health in patients with arterial hypertension using pulse wave velocity, as well as the development of personalized treatment approaches based on these indicators.
Zarina Mashkurova’s study drew the attention of specialists from Japan, South Korea, Germany, and other countries thanks to its accuracy, sophisticated statistical analysis, and clinical significance.
