The Syrdarya Regional Department of Family and Women and Termez State University held a workshop on “Women in science: achievements and problems”.

The event was attended by Deputy Hokim of the region, head of the Department for Family and Women Zulkhumor Khidirova, Rector of Termez State University, Professor Abduqodir Toshqulov, women scientists, students awarded state prizes and prestigious scholarships.

Addressing the event, the Rector of the university A. Toshqulov noted that 89 women scientists work at Termez State University, 15 of whom are women under 35. It was emphasized that female scientists at the university are actively participating not only in the activities of the university, but also in public life.

The women who participated actively in the events were awarded with letters of gratitude.
