At a videoconference chaired by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev on the accelerated development of the country’s tourism potential, it was noted that hokims should also learn how to widely promote their region abroad.

To do this, regional hokims will create branches of PR centers with the involvement of tour operators that:

– develop a visiting card for each region;

– organize “tourist stops” at airports, railway stations and hotels in Tashkent city and regions;

– develop a unique seasonal tourist package for each region;

– approve the schedule of festivals, concerts and will announce them not only among local, but also foreign tourists.

Following the meeting, information from responsible officials was heard.
