Hokim of Namangan region Shavkat Abdurazakov met with the Managing Director of the Austrian company AME International, Heinz Messinger, who arrived in Uzbekistan on a working visit.

AME International is participating in a project to provide the Namangan branch of the Republican Specialized Scientific and Practical Medical Center for Cardiology with medical equipment worth $9 million.

Practical work has begun in the city of Namangan on the construction on the site of a former Endocrinology Dispensary and equipping the regional Trauma Hospital. By the end of 2023, it is planned to create the Namangan branch of the Republican Specialized Scientific and Practical Medical Center for Traumatology and Orthopedics here. To this end, at the expense of investments from Austrian partners, modern medical equipment worth $10 million will be brought and installed.

At the meeting, a presentation of the conceptual and functional master plan of the medical center took place. Heinz Messinger noted that this plan is designed for the next 10-15 years and envisages the creation of several departments.
