A new trade-logistics center of Koreta Co., Ltd. for goods from Fergana region has been opened in South Korea’s Paran.

Hokim of Fergana region Khayrullo Bozorov, who is in the Republic of Korea on a working visit, and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Uzbekistan to this country Alisher Abdusalomov, attended the opening ceremony.

The center was built on the initiative of Fergana entrepreneurs Abduvokhid Qodirov, Javokhir Valiyev, and Muhammadsaid Khodjayev. The project was implemented for $6 million.

During the working visit, members of the Fergana region’s delegation also got acquainted with the Ulsan Mipo National Industrial Complex, manufacturing enterprises, and took part in the festival of local industry.

Mr. Bozorov met with the Mayor of Gangseo district, Seoul, Jin Gyo-hoon. The sides exchanged views on expanding trade relations between the regions, establishing cooperation, and organizing meetings of entrepreneurs. In addition, twinning ties were established between Fergana region and Gangseo district.

At the meeting of the Hokim of the region with Kim Deok-young, Chairman of BOMI Engineering & Construction, a company with extensive experience in the field of construction and engineering, prospects for direct investments in the economy of Fergana region were discussed.
