A press tour has been organized for journalists and bloggers to Kashkadarya region’s Shakhrisabz.

A presentation of carried out activities in the economy, services, handicrafts, and tourism was held.

Media representatives and bloggers visited one of the new industrial enterprises of Shakhrisabz – Oqsaroy Vortex LLC, which was launched in November 2020. It employs 250 young people. The company produces yarn from synthetic and cotton fibers. It uses vortex technology. The fiber is processed under air pressure. 

Journalists and bloggers were also informed about the activities of Shakhrisabz Textile and Oqsaroy Textile companies, which are part of the structure of Oqsaroy Group. These enterprises will gradually implement three major projects worth $54 million and employ 1,610 people. The export of products will amount to $22 million per year.

Media representatives also studied the activities of Sado LLC. 200 thousand sets of clothing are produced here per year. Currently, the company employs 215 people. The sewing shop is equipped with 100 new modern sewing machines.

Work is underway to further modernize, expand and re-equip the workshops. Currently, the company exports its products through partner companies, and in the future, it aims to establish direct export of products.

Journalists and bloggers also visited the Maqom Museum in Shakhrisabz. They became acquainted with the ancient musical instruments, such as dutar, tor, rubab, and other rare samples.

The participants of the press tour also visited the historical sights of the ancient and eternally young Shakhrisabz.
