A third of Uzbekistan’s foreign trade turnover falls on the CIS countries
The foreign trade turnover with the CIS countries in January-September 2021 amounted to 10 billion 827.7 million USD, the State Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan reports.
38.4 percent of the foreign trade turnover of Uzbekistan fell on the CIS countries. Their share in the total foreign trade turnover increased by 7.9 percent compared to the corresponding period of 2020. The foreign trade turnover of other foreign countries in January-September 2021 decreased by 8 percent compared to the corresponding period of 2020, the share in the total volume amounted to 61.6 percent.
Exports amounted to $3770.3 million, and imports – $7057.4 million.
The largest volume of foreign trade turnover of Uzbekistan with the CIS countries falls on Russia (47.3 percent), Kazakhstan (25.9 percent) and Kyrgyzstan (6.3 percent).
