At a meeting chaired by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, it was emphasized that high-speed Internet is necessary to develop IT services in the regions.

During the surveys, 33 percent of IT Park residents said that Internet speed in the regions is low. It was noted that some sections of international highways are not covered by mobile Internet. The Ministry of Digital Technologies has been instructed to attract foreign investment to develop digital infrastructure next year.
