A special web portal “My Opinion” is launched

The Institute of Problems of Legislation and Parliamentary Studies under the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan held a press conference devoted to presentation of the web portal “Mening fikrim” (“My opinion”).

In developing the concept of the web portal “My opinion”, numerous studies were conducted on its operation in a convenient and simple mode. At the same time, the experience of more than 10 leading countries of the world was studied.

It was emphasized that the concept of the web portal “My opinion” was discussed among the general public on February 15 this year, which was attended not only by the Oliy Majlis deputies, but also deputies of local Kengashes of people’s deputies who has the authority to consider electronic collective appeals on a district scale, that was an important factor in further improving this web portal.

On April 13 of this year, the project of the web portal “My opinion” passed the international expertise of German specialists.

The web portal “My opinion” has created many opportunities for expanding the participation of citizens of the country in management of public and state affairs, ensuring openness of activities of representative bodies of the state power, vitality and effectiveness of the adopted laws. Extensive use of capabilities of this web portal will help to ensure further adaptation of laws to social conditions and their qualitative improvement.

The portal will function in Uzbek and Russian languages. On the main page there are sections “All appeals”, “How does it work?”, “News”, “About the portal”, “Frequently asked questions”. Only citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan can leave a message on the web portal. For this, a series of passports must be entered through the Unified Identity System of the portal. Then the user will be given a personal account.

Media representatives will be regularly informed by the Institute of Problems of Legislation and Parliamentary Studies under the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan on activities of the portal and the status of appeals.
