At the invitation of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, King Abdullah II ibn Al Hussein of Jordan is paying a state visit to Uzbekistan.

On August 26, in the city of Samarkand, the main events of the visit began with the official welcoming ceremony of the King of Jordan.

On the square in front of the Congress Center, a guard of honor was lined up. The President of Uzbekistan warmly welcomed the distinguished guest and invited him to the podium.

The military orchestra performed the national anthems of both countries.

The President of Uzbekistan and the King of Jordan walked along the guard of honor and greeted the members of the official delegation.
