Hokim of Namangan region Shavkat Abdurazzakov met with a delegation led by the CEO of the Chinese company FHT Future Technology Wen Jin Li.

Investors from China discussed the construction of a station that generates alternative electricity through the use of solar energy. It will be located in Pap district and will occupy 1,200 hectares.

A technopark specialized for the production of solar panels, batteries and equipment will also be built here. The cost of the project, which is important in increasing the economy and investment potential of the region, is US $300 million. In Namangan, it is planned to assemble modern greenhouses and then export.
