According to the Ministry of Energy, a solar photovoltaic power plant with a capacity of 1 MW is being built at Turakurgan Thermal Power Plant for its own needs.

According to preliminary estimates, after the commissioning of this plant, 1.9 million kilowatt/hours of electricity will be generated annually. As a result, savings of 54 thousand cubic meters of natural gas per year will be achieved.
