A meeting was held at the Committee for the Development of Sericulture and Wool Industry with the participation of the Chairman of the Committee, Iqboljon Ergashev, the Chairman of the Uzbekipaksanoat Association, Olimjon Jumayev, and the leadership of Chongqing Sunfeel Intelligent Technology.

The parties discussed a project to create a sericulture complex in Kashkadarya.

As noted at the event, the project will be implemented in two stages.

In particular, this year, thanks to rain irrigation, mulberry plantations will be created on 500 hectares. Drying and processing thousands of tons of wet cocoons per year is envisaged. A complex will be built to produce silk fabric and finished products.
