At the Festival of Literature and Books of the Turkic World held in Baku, Professor of Samarkand State Institute of Foreign Languages and well-known literary scholar Dilorom Salokhi was awarded the Nizami Ganjavi medal, established by the International Organization of Turkic Culture, operating under the auspices of the Organization of Turkic States.

“We are the heirs of such great thinkers as Alisher Navoi, Nizami Ganjavi, Zahiriddin Muhammad Babur, and Maqsud Sheikhzade, who unite the Turkic peoples. That is why it is important to promote strengthening their cooperation in literature, " said the scientist.

At the forum, the presentation of the book “The Enlightenment of Sheikh Nizami” by Dilorom Salokhi, containing her scientific and creative views, took place. The book was met with great interest by the participants of the event.
