The President’s instructions are in action

A non-governmental educational institution named after Academician Sarymsakov has started operating in Andijan region’s Shakhrikhan district.

Academician of the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan, Honored Worker of Sciences of Uzbekistan, and holder of the “Buyuk Khizmatlari Uchun” Order Toshmuhammad Sarymsakov was a scientist who made a considerable contribution to the development of the country’s science and created a scientific school of topological and functional analysis.

During his visit to Andijan region in 2021, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev spoke about the need to study the scientific heritage and perpetuate the memory of the scientist, establish “Sarymsakov readings” and a scholarship named after the scientist for gifted students of Andijan State University, create a specialized school named after the scientist in Toshmuhammad Sarymsakov’s homeland – in Shakhrikhan district.

An entrepreneur from this district, Mansurbek Mamayusupov, began a noble work based on the President’s proposal. On his initiative, within the framework of a project worth 21.5 billion UZS, a non-state educational institution for a thousand student places was built.

– All the necessary conditions have been created in the institution, – said the Director of the Non-Governmental Educational Institution named after Academician Sarymsakov, Isroiljon Boymurodov. – The education system was established based on a new national curriculum introduced in Presidential and specialized schools. The physics, chemistry, and biology classrooms have advanced laboratory equipment.

Solar panels with a capacity of 31 kW are installed on the building of the educational institution, providing the building with electricity entirely autonomously.

Andijan region’s Hokim Sh. Abdurakhmonov took part in the opening ceremony of the school.

It was noted that in Uzbekistan, special attention is paid to the school education system and the acquisition of professional skills by students.

The visitors inspected classrooms. Students were presented with Presidential gifts.
