The delegation of the Development Strategy Center, led by Executive Director Eldor Tulyakov, who is in Stockholm on a working visit, met with the Ambassador of Sweden to Uzbekistan Tomas Danestad.

The parties discussed the current state and prospects of cooperation between Uzbekistan and Sweden. Views were exchanged on the upcoming roundtable discussion on the Development Strategy of New Uzbekistan for 2022-2026 at the Swedish Ministry for Foreign Affairs with the participation of Uzbekistan delegation.

Tomas Danestad noted that he plans to visit Uzbekistan on November 17-18 to attend the ministerial conference on strengthening connectivity between the European Union and Central Asia, in Samarkand.

The parties agreed to organize a bilateral meeting at the Development Strategy Center during the visit.
