A meeting under the chairmanship of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev continues on the reform of the civil service.
A reserve of potential personnel will be created for the selection of district or city-level managers:
– candidates for these positions will be selected from among the assistants of the hokim and the youth leader of the mahalla;
– targeted refresher courses will be organized for them;
– young people will undergo an internship and improve their qualifications in ministries and hokimiyats for at least a month;
– together with foreign specialists, their personal qualities and psychological state will be analyzed, their managerial skills will be formed.
– that is, based on the competence, we will train and improve the experience of those who lack knowledge and skills”, the President noted.
Responsible persons were instructed to select 1000 candidates from among the hokim’s assistants and youth leaders for the reserve of potential personnel by the end of the year and make proposals.
“Recently I selected 65 hokim assistants and 40 youth leaders for the Reserve of potential personnel, who showed the best results at the end of the half-year”, the President noted.
It was instructed to launch the “100 Advanced Leaders” program within three months. Within the framework of the program, 100 potential young personnel will be selected every two years from among civil servants, active entrepreneurs and compatriots who are abroad.
Separate training programs will be developed for them, and a system of internships abroad will be introduced. Upon completion of their studies, this personnel will be enrolled as candidates for high positions in the public service system.
It was emphasized that a similar program yielded positive results in the United Arab Emirates.
