At the 2nd Andijan District Election Commission meeting, the participants discussed the effectiveness of advanced training courses organized for members of election commissions.

According to Commission Chairman K. Komilov, on 2-10 June, 83 regional trainers conducted sessions for chairpersons of election commissions, their deputies, and secretaries. Training sessions were also organized for 1,856 polling station operators to improve their theoretical skills in applying modern information technologies in voting.

It was noted that Internet and telephone services were organized at all 928 polling stations.

OSCE/ODIHR observers also attended the event.
