As part of the visit of the delegation of Khorezm region to China, a presentation of the trade, economic, investment and tourism potential of Khorezm took place in the city of Nanning, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.

The event was attended by representatives of about 200 companies, trade, economic, and tourism associations, business circles, and media in the region, organized by the Embassy of Uzbekistan, the Consulate General in Guangzhou, the government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, and the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade.

Chairperson of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Yang Yanyan noted that Uzbekistan is an important trading partner of China. “The Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region and Uzbekistan have great opportunities for cooperation in equipment production, mineral resources, agricultural technologies, cotton spinning, and tourism”, he said.

B2B and G2B meetings were organized between business representatives of Uzbekistan and China. At the meetings, agreements were reached on implementing projects in areas of mutually beneficial cooperation in various fields.
