UNESCO Headquarters hosted the premiere of the work of the famous composer Dmitri Yanov-Yanovsky “Melody of the Constellations” in connection with the opening in Paris of an exhibition dedicated to the life and work of Abu Rayhon Beruni.
The composer created it as a tribute to four great thinkers of the East: Al-Khwarizmi, Ibn Sina, Abu Rayhon Beruni, and Mirzo Ulugbek.
The National Symphony Orchestra of Uzbekistan, under the direction of Alibek Kabdurakhmanov, introduced art lovers to new aspects of the historical heritage of Uzbekistan in a musical project organized by the Art and Culture Development Foundation.

– The National Symphony Orchestra of Uzbekistan concert took place in the historical building of the UNESCO Headquarters, – says Alibek Kabdurakhmanov. – We performed an excellent musical composition “Melody of the Constellations”, written in several parts.

A cultural event was also organized to mark the 1050th Anniversary of the great thinker and scientist Abu Rayhon Beruni’s birth. Musical works and Uzbek national melodies made a great impression on the participants. It was noted that in Uzbekistan, special attention is paid to the rich historical and cultural heritage and the support and development of art. As one of the event participants emphasized, Uzbekistan conquers the world with its traditions, culture, and art.

The performance of the National Symphony Orchestra of Uzbekistan immersed the audience in the atmosphere of great scientific discoveries.
The four-day exhibition “Abu Rayhon Beruni. Geographical and Intellectual Journeys” has ended.
