On July 18-22 this year, Uzbekistan will host the Kyrgyzstan Culture Days.
The commonality of the Uzbek and Kyrgyz peoples’ language, traditions, and customs is essential in strengthening their bonds of brotherhood and friendship. In the last seven to eight years, thanks to the efforts of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, relations with foreign countries, especially the states of the Turkic world and, in particular, Kyrgyzstan, have entered a new stage of their development.
Representatives of the two countries’ cinematography, theatrical spheres, fine and applied arts, photography, media, and literary circles had the opportunity to participate in various joint creative projects, conferences, and forums.

The program of events that will take place in Uzbekistan over five days is notable for its scale and diversity – these are concerts with the participation of Uzbek and Kyrgyz artists, meetings of creative people of the two fraternal countries in the Writers’ Union of Uzbekistan, an official dialogue in the Ministry of Culture. In addition, the opening of the Kyrgyz Cinema Days will take place, and an exhibition and concert, “Kyrgyz Ayyly”, will be organized on Blue Domes Boulevard in Tashkent.
As part of the Culture Days, the State Conservatory of Uzbekistan will also host a concert dedicated to the work of the famous composer, teacher, and musician, People’s Artist of the Kyrgyz Republic, Rector of the National Conservatory named after K. Moldobasanov Muratbek Begaliev.

At the Uzbek State Musical Theater named after Mukimi, the play “Milky Way” will be presented to the attention of Uzbekistan spectators.
Bukhara will also host the Kyrgyzstan Culture Days. Concerts are planned at the Bukhara region’s youth center.
It should be noted that the artists of the fraternal country will have the opportunity to explore the sights of Tashkent – the Hazrati Imam complex, the State Museum of the Temurids History, the State Museum of Applied Arts and the History of Crafts, and get acquainted with the historical places of Bukhara and see with their own eyes the radical reforms implemented. Such cultural and educational events are a vivid example of the eternal friendship between the people of the two countries that are close to each other.
