A photo exhibition dedicated to Uzbekistan's history and exhibits of applied art of the country opens in Poland
A photo exhibition of the famous Polish traveler, ethnographer, and local historian Leon Barszczewski dedicated to Uzbekistan at the end of the 19th century opened in Grójec, Poland.
Visitors got acquainted with the rich history, culture, and traditions, which are reflected in the photographs, as well as the works of the masters of applied art of the country and the tourism potential of Uzbekistan.
The event was attended by representatives of the regional administration, employees of the local city museum, scholars, historians, culturologists and art critics, well-known Polish masters of applied art, media representatives of the Masovian Voivodeship, as well as residents of the city.
The exposition presented photographs and more than 50 exhibits of applied art of Uzbekistan – products made by folk artisans, national costumes, jewelry, etc.
