The proxy of the presidential candidate from the Social Democratic Party of Uzbekistan “Adolat” Robakhon Makhmudova in Samarkand region Muzaffara Abdiyeva met with voters from Pastdargom district.

Party activists and deputies, veterans, youth, women, and members of the general public attended the meeting. The proxy acquainted the audience with the biography and priority areas of the candidate’s Election Program.

“The Election Program of Mrs. Makhmudova outlines urgent tasks in nine areas related to our society’s life”, Mrs. Abdiyeva said. – We strive to transform the principle “The rule of law is an important condition for building a just state!” into an important rule for every member of society, especially in officials’ activities. The highest value for the party is a person, his rights, and his freedoms. Ensuring human rights and freedoms and respect for the dignity of every citizen is an integral part of a free and just society.

To reliably protect human rights and freedoms, we propose, first of all, to ensure the independence of the courts and to abolish the practice of providing information by judges to the Councils of People’s deputies. Our focus will be on increasing the number of judges and further expanding their specialization, including creating a specialized corps of judges for family, labor disputes, and disputes related to intellectual property and the protection of the rights of minors.

Relying on the law should become a way of life for us. To do this, we must ensure the supremacy of the Constitution and laws. The Constitution provides advanced legal mechanisms in this direction. We believe that each applicant for public service must be examined for knowledge of the Basic Law.

At the meeting, the proxy answered voters’ questions and urged them to support the candidate from the Social Democratic Party of Uzbekistan “Adolat” in the elections.
