President Shavkat Mirziyoyev chairs a videoconference on the urgent tasks of introducing a new system of working with youth.

As noted, a new system would be created for the meaningful organization of free time for young people.

Thanks to the attention paid to teaching foreign languages, the number of private language centers has exceeded 6 thousand. Today, 1.5 million young people devote their free time to learning foreign languages.

However, in a recent survey of 100,000 young people, it was noted that they are interested in sports such as football, volleyball, table tennis, and badminton, and want to spend time in esports classes. The youth stressed that there is a need for infrastructure for reading, music, dancing, karaoke, theater, and cinema, and asked to organize alleys and parks for family walks.

It was instructed to create round-the-clock “Youth Parks” in regional centers, and then in districts. In these places, it is necessary to organize platforms for esports, sports and intellectual games, karaoke clubs, podiums, Book Cafe, coworking, and other educational and entertaining places.

It was instructed to hold creative evenings and movie evenings, dances, discos, quizzes, the “Club of the Cheerful and Resourceful” and other events in recreation parks, and alleys, encouraging knowledge, promoting good leisure, and meeting the needs of youth.
