At the meeting chaired by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the introduction of a new system to increase the country’s tourism potential was discussed.

The regions, working together with the 11 universities assigned to them, will have to develop and enrich content about tourist sites. This:

– 31 districts and 143 tourist mahallas located in them create the content of monuments and tourist sites;

– based on them, tourist packages are developed in at least 12 languages;

– in these areas, the practice of students studying in such areas as tourism, economics, geography, service, and foreign languages is organized for at least two months;

– employees of tourism and service facilities are trained.

According to the final results, university professors and students are encouraged.
