An international workshop is being held in Kazakhstan’s Nur-Sultan within the framework of the project “Vocational Education for economic growth sectors in Central Asia”, implemented by the German Society for International Cooperation.
The workshop is attended by representatives of the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education of Uzbekistan, specialists of the Institute of Pedagogical Innovations, Tashkent State Agrarian University, Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology, Uzbekoziqovqatzahira Association and other employers’ organizations.

Priority tasks for the development of the system of higher and vocational education in 2022-2024 were discussed at the event.
It was noted that for the implementation of this project, the Central Asian countries – Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan – will be allocated 10 million euros, most of which will be directed to the development of vocational education.

At the event, opinions were exchanged on the areas of logistics and food relevant to the project, the development of educational programs based on the experience of Germany, the professional development of teachers and training specialists in educational institutions.
