Hokim of Bukhara region Botir Zaripov received the Rector of the University of Health Sciences of Türkiye, Professor Kemalettin Aydın.

Today, relations between the Turkish university and the Bukhara State Medical Institute are reaching a new level. According to a mutual agreement, Bukhara specialists annually upgrade their qualifications at this university on a preferential basis.

The possibilities for expanding and developing relations in medical education, as well as for joint scientific and educational events, were discussed at the meeting.

The head of the region stressed his willingness to support initiatives and proposals within the framework of cooperation actively.

In turn, Kemalettin Aydın expressed gratitude to the Hokim of the region for efforts to strengthen and develop cooperation.

Taking into account the growing number of study areas and students, the parties reached agreements on the allocation of a separate building for the Turkish Medical Faculty, further expansion of academic exchange of bachelors and masters, exchange of experience, advanced training of faculty and doctoral students, internships based on a branch of the Turkish university, as well as the implementation of joint projects in the field of surgery.
