A project has been launched to support women who want to be engaged in beekeeping.

The project envisages the introduction of a mobile application for beekeeping in Uzbekistan and is an experimental one.

It will be implemented by Hive Tracks Company of the International Center for Agricultural Research in the Dry Areas (ICARDA) with the financial assistance of the German Federal Foreign Office in cooperation with Uzbekistan Beekeepers Association.

The new mobile application will provide more complete control over the state of apiaries and the health of bees by monitoring and managing tasks in beekeeping. The project also aims to improve the living conditions of women and preserve biodiversity.
