A new perspective on Uzbekistan’s agricultural future

As previously reported, the first day of the International Agricultural Exhibition AGROPRO EXPO 2025 took place at the SOF EXPO exhibition center.

The Sof Expo Group organized the event with the support of Samarkand Regional Hokimiyat, the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and the Uzbekistan Exporters Association.

In his speech, Acting Hokim of Samarkand region Adiz Boboyev emphasized the significance of AGROPRO EXPO 2025 as a key event for Uzbekistan’s agricultural sector. According to him, the exhibition is not just a demonstration platform but an essential venue for experience exchange, showcasing advanced technologies, and discussing pressing industry challenges.

The exhibition organizers emphasized the importance of food security, climate change, and sustainable development. A specialized section was also presented as part of the event, focusing on Uzbekistan’s local agriculture and prospects.

A key highlight of the exhibition was awarding winners in various categories. In the “Best Agro-Industrial Complex Startup” category, the winner was Nodirbek Saynazarov, Director of Agro In Vitro LLC.

In the “Best Agricultural Producer-Exporter of 2024” category, the winner was Sharq Sanoat.

AGROPRO EXPO 2025 opens new opportunities for cooperation and knowledge exchange in the agricultural sector, reinforcing the importance of sustainable agricultural development in the region.
