A new Oncology Clinic worth 50 million euros to be established in Uzbekistan

The Ministry of Health and OPASCA German Oncology Solutions GmbH signed an agreement on implementing a project for establishing a modern clinic.

It is known that Germany has a leading position in the world on development of medicine. German specialists are achieving great success especially in the area of oncological diseases treatment. The results achieved by them on prevention, early detection of oncological diseases, high-tech treatment and rehabilitation of patients are worthy of attention.

In this area, an agreement was signed between the Ministry of Health and OPASCA German Oncology Solutions GmbH on implementing a project for establishing a modern clinic, provided with the latest technologies and equipment worth 50 million euros, training Uzbekistan specialists in the clinic of the prestigious University of Mannheim of Germany.

— As a result, it will become possible to diagnose and effectively treat the most difficult, complex and questionable cases. Most importantly, leading specialists and scientists of Germany will work in this modern hospital on a permanent basis, — says the Minister of Health Alisher Shadmanov. — In addition, Uzbekistan’s specialists will be trained by professors of the University of Mannheim. Thus, the foundation for implementation of regular training and retraining of our specialists in Germany’s Medical Center, which is the most advanced in all areas of medicine, was laid for the first time in the history of our country.
