Egypt, chairing COP-27, announced the launch of the Food and Agriculture for Sustainable Transformation – FAST initiative aimed at qualitatively and quantitatively increasing the contribution of climate finance to the transformation of agriculture and food systems by 2030.

The participants of the program will provide developing countries with access to climate finance and investments, will help expand knowledge in climate security, and will also contribute to the development of political dialogue.

FAO is a coordinator of this initiative.
