From June 1, Qanot Sharq private airline will start operating regular direct flights from Samarkand to Istanbul.

According to the Ministry of Transport, flights on the route will be carried out three times a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.

Departure from Samarkand is scheduled for 7:00 local time.

Earlier, the agency announced the opening of additional flights on Astana – Tashkent route from July 3.
