A new era of friendly relations between Uzbekistan and Mongolia
22:21 / 2024-06-25

Uzbekistan has established diplomatic relations with more than 130 countries. There are 55 diplomatic and consular missions of foreign countries and international organizations in the country. Uzbekistan is a member of more than 100 international organizations.

It is crucial to consistently uphold the policy of openness and fortify the friendly relations between our countries. Today, experts underscore that the agreements between the Head of our state and the leaders of other countries not only foster our country’s development but also contribute to the progress of the entire Central Asia, underscoring the mutual benefits of these relations.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia Batmunkh Battsetseg noted that the visit of President Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh to Uzbekistan is a significant step in the interests of the people of the two countries.

– A significant period has come for bringing relations between Uzbekistan and Mongolia to a new stage. I am confident that the state visit of our President to your country will significantly improve our cooperation.

The meeting of the heads of the two states was very productive. Now, our relations are developing in various directions. I am confident that in the near future, we will cooperate even more effectively in many areas within the framework of joint projects.

We also exchanged views on several issues at other meetings held at the level of prime ministers, heads of ministries, and agencies. In particular, the main topics of discussion within our dialogue were such areas as agriculture, education and construction. Documents were signed to bring cooperation between the two countries to a new level.

Our friendship is at a high level, and we welcome any noble effort that meets the interests of the people of our countries.

Deputy prime ministers head the Intergovernmental Commission. They will develop a new plan, the so-called action plan of our development. The negotiations will create a solid basis for strengthening economic ties and achieving high results in education and culture. It should be noted that such visits serve unity between people and open up new opportunities for further fruitful interaction.
