Hokim of Navoi region Normat Tursunov received the founder of the Turkish company Koç Construction LLC and the foreign enterprise in Tashkent Piramit Global Yusuf Sarikoç.

The issue of opening the Navoi Agrofos enterprise in Kanimekh district, the cost of which is $50 million, was discussed. Granular phosphorite will be processed here.

“At the first stage, $15 million has been allocated, and construction is scheduled to be completed in July”, says Yusuf Sarikoç. At the second stage, investments will amount to $35 million”.

A momentous ceremony of laying the foundation was held with the active participation of the general public, the company’s leadership, and other responsible individuals.

Hokim of Kanimekh district Ruslan Ruziyev noted that this enterprise is essential for the region’s economy. It will create 100 jobs.
