A medical diagnostic center Sogda Med Center LLC was launched in Samarkand district of Samarkand region in the second quarter of 2020 with the financial support of the National Bank for Foreign Economic Activity of Uzbekistan.

The project served to cover 735 thousand people a year with qualitative diagnostics, employ 39 highly qualified specialists.

Thanks to a loan for over $1.5 million, allocated by NBU through the EBRD, Sogda Med Center LLC acquired modern diagnostic equipment from leading manufacturers of England, Turkey, Latvia and Germany.

Now this diagnostic center provides research in cardiology, gynecology and urology, consultations and treatment procedures. Fluoroscopy and radiography, dopplerography and ultrasound, gastroscopy and colonoscopy, MSCT services are offered.

NBU supports such projects to create all conditions for the timely and effective treatment of citizens across the country.
