A Mentorship Program for women entrepreneurs is being created
09:00 / 2024-03-13

A Mentorship Program for women entrepreneurs, TalpynUp, is being created in Uzbekistan.

The project is being implemented with the support of USAID in partnership with Imperial College London. Its primary goals are to develop women’s skills and qualities for the future business environment, scale business initiatives, and create an ecosystem for networking.

The program includes six modules of intensive online training on sales skills, tax and financial legislation, HR management, business planning, marketing, and networking. It lasts six months. Women under the age of 29, mothers of many children, or mothers of children with special needs can take part in it. They can also be owners of a business operating for one to three years.

The program includes three sections – individual training, masterminds with a mentor, and practical sessions with business trainers. At the end of the course, graduates will receive diplomas.

This mentoring program has been implemented in Kazakhstan since 2023 and will begin work in Kyrgyzstan this year. This year, 30 grant places are allocated for participants from Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan, and another 120 are reserved for Kazakhstan.

The results of the selection of participants will be announced on April 18. The training itself is scheduled to begin on April 20.
