14:17 / 2022-07-21

A Memorandum of Cooperation has been signed between the Senate of the Oliy Majlis and the Assembly of Economy of Uzbekistan.

The Assembly of Economy of Uzbekistan was established in 2021. The structure unites about 100 thousand entrepreneurs in its ranks and protects the interests of 13 associations.

The document signed by the Chairperson of the Senate Tanzila Narbayeva and the Chairman of the Assembly Mukhtor Umarov is aimed at forming a modern legislative framework and supporting the ongoing economic reforms.

The Memorandum also provides for improving the business environment, ensuring accelerated development of regions through entrepreneurship support, reducing bureaucratic procedures and encouraging exports.

As it was noted, the Memorandum, solving the problems of entrepreneurs, will serve to strengthen cooperation between the Senate, civil society institutions and business entities.
