The Chairman of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Islamov met with the Chairman of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Belarus Valentin Sukalo.

During the dialogue, issues of strengthening multifaceted relations between the supreme courts of the two countries were raised.

The parties paid special attention to the potential and opportunities for effective interdepartmental cooperation and exchanged views on enhancing collaboration, particularly in the administration of justice in civil, economic, labor, family, and criminal cases.

The exchange of information on regulatory documents relating to the judicial sphere and the introduction of information and communication technologies in court activities were discussed.

Following the meeting, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the Supreme Court of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Supreme Court of the Republic of Belarus. This document will lay a solid foundation for taking the bilateral partnership to a new level.
