Jakarta hosted a conference on “Uzbekistan and Indonesia: Tourism, Business and Culture”.

The event was organized by the Embassy of Uzbekistan and Indonesia Halal Lifestyle Center. At the meeting, the parties agreed to attract pilgrims from Indonesia to the popular tourist places of Uzbekistan, to carry out joint charter flights and on other issues of mutually beneficial partnership.

At the same time, prospects for cooperation between travel agencies of Uzbekistan and Indonesia’s ASITA, ASTINDO, Sapuhi, Amphuri specializing in Hajj and Umrah programs were discussed.

Within the framework of the event, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the Samarkand Tourist Center and ASITA.
