On the initiative of the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Center of Uzbek Culture at the Belarusian State Pedagogical University hosted a literary lounge devoted to Alisher Navoi and Zahiriddin Muhammad Babur’s works.

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Uzbekistan, Rakhmatulla Nazarov, Embassy Advisor Alisher Babayev, representative of the State Literary-Commemorative Museum of Yakub Kolas, great-granddaughter of the poet Vasilina Mitskevich, First Vice-Rector of BSPU Svetlana Kopteva, students, teachers attended the event.

The participants enjoyed the motifs of national Uzbek melodies, took part in a photoshoot in national costumes, and showed their knowledge during an interactive linguistic translation session.

The most active participants received gifts following the event.
