This was announced at a videoconference chaired by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev in Bukhara.
As noted, a large-scale program for introducing renewable energy sources has been implemented since the beginning of the year.
Over the past period, 430 megawatts of renewable energy sources have been implemented. As a result, 1.2 billion kilowatt-hours of electricity are produced annually – 60 percent of the annual consumption of social facilities.
Today, 250 megawatts of solar panels have been installed at social and business facilities and residential buildings.
Particularly effective, within the framework of the annual plan, this work was organized in Jizzakh, Samarkand, Kashkadarya, Syrdarya, and Fergana.
At the same time, introducing solar panels in Urtachirchiq district amounted to 5 percent, Buka district – 10 percent, Bozatau, and Pskent districts – 15 percent, Nurata, and Yangikhayot – 20 percent.
Work on the repair of networks and transformers, scheduled for 2023, was ordered to be completed by August 1. However, the reconstruction of 1,100 kilometers of networks and 402 transformers still needs to be completed in the regions.
