Hokim of Fergana region Khayrullo Bozorov received a Japan DXT Co., Ltd. delegation led by the company’s Executive Chairman Soji Suzuki.

The parties discussed the prospects for cooperation and further strengthening of mutually beneficial relations. He provided the guests with detailed information about the Fergana region, its location, population and available opportunities, and the Japanese Garden project. It was noted that Japanese enterprises in agriculture and waste processing have been registered and started working in the region.

The head of the region also dwelled on the issue of creating a Japanese industrial zone and stated that he was ready to help and support Japanese businessmen in this matter. The Executive Chairman of Japan DXT expressed gratitude for the warm welcome, highly appreciated the opportunities created for investors in Uzbekistan, in particular in Fergana region, and noted that they intend to use them effectively.

The parties signed a Memorandum of Understanding to further strengthen cooperation and create a Japanese industrial park in Kokand Free Economic Zone. It was noted that within the framework of the project, it is planned to bring modern equipment from Japan and implement start-up projects.
