The Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Japan, Mukhsinkhoja Abdurakhmanov, met with representatives of the Japanese travel company World Air-Sea Service.
World Air-Sea Service presented a draft tourism brochure entitled “World Heritage – Zarafshan-Karakum Corridor of the Great Silk Road: an 8-day journey along the caravan route Samarkand – Bukhara – Khiva”, widely revealing the tourism potential of Uzbekistan in Japan.
The brochure is planned to be published in Japanese starting in April with a circulation of 30 thousand copies. It will provide information on the inclusion of the Zarafshan – Karakum Corridor of the Great Silk Road in the UNESCO World Heritage List, as well as information about the unique culture of the historical cities of Uzbekistan – Samarkand, Shakhrisabz, Bukhara, and Khiva.
President of World Air-Sea Service Yosuke Kikuma noted that this brochure will attract the attention of Japanese tourists to Uzbekistan thanks to information about the conditions and new opportunities available to foreign guests.
