The first hotel opened at Tashkent International Airport. The hotel complex is located in the waiting area of the departure terminal. It has 24 mini-rooms on two floors.
According to Uzbekistan Airports, there are bathrooms and a shower, a reception desk, and an information board on the ground floor of the complex. Each room has an individual boarding invitation system. The mini-rooms are designed like small, cozy cabins with a full-size single bed and a minimal set of accessories – a lamp, a mirror, a clothes hanger, a shelf for hand luggage, and a table. Passengers can stay here for several hours during the transfer without leaving the airport or the transit area.
The hotel, with an area of 240 square meters, was transferred through auction on E-auksion.uz to a private company and will operate under the Khamsa Hotel brand. The accommodation cost varies from 30 to 150 USD depending on the length of stay and class. Twenty-three rooms correspond to the “standard” class. Only one room is luxury, intended for family accommodation. The hotel is designed in an oriental style by local artist Bobur Ismailov.
