At the 57th International Chemistry Olympiad (IChO 2025), held in Dubai, Uzbekistan students achieved a historic success by winning two gold and two silver medals.

This marks the best result in the history of Uzbekistan’s participation in this prestigious international competition. Such success is a testament to the practical efforts made to support and develop talented youth in Uzbekistan, as well as to the high standard of science education in the country’s specialized educational institutions.

According to the Ministry of Preschool and School Education, the students who demonstrated exceptional preparation and in-depth knowledge of chemistry were Ibragim Temurov from the “Bukhara” school in Almalyk and students of the specialized school named after Abu Ali ibn Sina – Daler Rakhimov, Mirjakhon Muhammadov, and Biloliddin Zukhriddinov. D. Rakhimov and Mirjakhon Muhammadov won gold medals, while I. Temurov and B. Zukhriddinov earned silver.
