On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the International Organization of Turkic Culture (TURKSOY), the Minister of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Uzbekistan Ozodbek Nazarbekov was awarded the gold medal of the organization, established for famous figures who have gained authority and attention in the Turkic countries for the wide promotion of culture and art, as well as professional skills.

According to the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, a late statesman and public figure, Honored Worker of Culture of Uzbekistan, Honored Artist of Karakalpakstan, Cavalier of the Order “Mehnat Shukhrati”, Professor Bakhtiyor Sayfullayev, People’s Artist of Uzbekistan Sherali Jurayev, Chairman of the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan Akmal Nuriddinov, Chairman of the Writers’ Union of Uzbekistan Sirojiddin Sayyid, Director of the Uzbek National Academic Drama Theater, actor, People’s Artist of Uzbekistan Yodgor Sadiyev and People’s Artist of Uzbekistan Yulduz Usmanova are also among the gold medalists of TURKSOY.

A group of culture and art figures was also awarded a special badge, established in connection with the 30th anniversary of the organization.
