The purpose of the visit is to become acquainted with the country. According to the State Committee for Tourism Development, guests visited Shakhi Zinda memorial complex, Amir Temur mausoleum, Registan ensemble, Abu Mansur Maturudi mausoleum, Imam al-Bukhari memorial complex. 

At the meeting, such issues as sending students and teachers of Turkey to Uzbekistan on familiarization tours, holding various conferences and events were also discussed. All this will serve for the country to become more popular destination among Turkish travelers.
