The Minister of Digital Technologies of the Republic of Uzbekistan Sherzod Shermatov met with the Senior Vice President of ZTE Corporation Mei Zhonghua.

The parties discussed the launch of the ZTE Corporation BPO center in Uzbekistan for the export of remote services and further stages of cooperation development in this new direction.

Cooperation in telecommunications, expansion of mobile and wired Internet networks, improvement of the quality and speed of communication, and development of the capabilities of Uzbektelecom JSC were also discussed.

The topic of data centers was also touched upon. In particular, the minister noted that a green data center is being built on the territory of the IT Park with the participation of DataVolt of Saudi Arabia. Proposals were made to cooperate with ZTE to develop data centers, accelerate the implementation of current projects, and expand the BPO service center.
