The performance of the ballet troupe of the Mariinsky Theatre took place on the stage of the State Academic Grand Theater of Uzbekistan named after Alisher Navoi.
The audience enjoyed the wonderful choreography of the primaries of the Mariinsky Theatre, the scenery, and the enchanting music. The program included performances of the famous ballets by Michel Fokine, created for the Mariinsky Theatre and its artists, as well as those included in Diaghilev's Russian seasons, such as: “Chopiniana” to the music of Frédéric Chopin, “The vision of the rose” to the music of Carl Maria von Weber, the famous “Swan” to the music of Camille Saint-Saëns and “Scheherazade” to the music of Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov.
The performances were accompanied by audio descriptions for blind visitors. The concert was organized by the Art and Culture Development Foundation of Uzbekistan and the Art, Science and Sport Charitable Foundation.
