A film about Uzbekistan’s cultural heritage presented in France
The Louvre hosted a presentation of the film “Uzbekistan: A Timeless Journey through Central Asia”, created by the Art and Culture Development Foundation under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan together with the French film company Les Poissons Volants, the ARTE TV Channel and the Louvre.

According to the Art and Culture Development Foundation, the documentary aroused great interest among the European audience, taking viewers from the period of Alexander the Great to the reign of the Timurids, introducing the rich history, culture and customs of Uzbekistan.

The film, created by director Jivko Darakchiev and screenwriter Yves Nilly, was presented as part of the exhibition “The Splendours of Uzbekistan’s Oases. At the Crossroads of Caravan Routes”, which will run until March 6, 2023.
